I thought it would be fun to give a little more sense of the 'story' of Broughton Castle by including a variety of scrapbook clippings - which is literally what these are. Taken from a pair of enormous scrapbooks my mother, Lady Saye, has maintained over the last thirty five years.

Most photographs are from Lady Saye's private collection; some images are reproduced from newspaper cuttings. We have done our best to acknowledge copyrights where possible and are grateful to the many sources of these images which we have reproduced from Lady Saye's albums.
